Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy, Nepal , is  a  non-government  and  non-profit organisation fully committed to helping children and adult suffering from cerebral palsy and to providing emotional and practical support to their parents. The group, which was established in October 1987 is a team of medical professionals, university teachers, parents of disabled children, social workers, and other individuals who wanted to help handicapped people

Ce site a été réalisé par Gian Paolo Berta et Brigitte Mayoraz pour le cour M. Mendelson "Introduction à l'informatique en Sciences Humaines". Les étudiants ont également voulu réaliser un site qui pourrait être utilisé par l'association Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy et ont donc choisi l'anglais comme langue principale pour ce site.
