Objectives

The main objective of this organisation is to help and support the parents of cp cases through different ways so that their palsied dependence get regular and effective help and care on a long term basis to become independent within the limits of their abilities. To be more specific, the broad objectives of the Group are :

to provide due care, comfort, and relief to children and adults with cerebral palsy
to help parents/family members develop the proper attitudes and skills for handling and assisting their palsied dependence.
to develop parent-professional partnership for long-term care and support essential for rehabilitation and treatment of children with cp.
to provide emotional support, motivation, knowledge and shills necessary for handling children with cp at home.
to get acquainted with the home environment of children with cpand make appropriate suggestions for improvements.
to help children with cp learn necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to be more independent in their life within the bounds of their physical abilities.

to prepare the children integrate in normal schools.
to train therapeutic assistants and home visitors in handling children with cp
to provide on-the-job training to the special educational teachers.
to support teachers and other staff on handling children with cp.
to create awareness on cp and physical disabilities
to provide opportunities for continual special education and for training in simple trades and crafts.
to make services available to cp cases in rural population.
to provide appropriate physical facilities necessary for the rehabilitation of children with cp.
