Different activities of the Self-help Group for Cerebral Palsy are only possible because of the individuals and small organisations that are willing to give us support. Besides help from friends of our group, and one-time grants from Canadian Cooperation office and Helvetas, SGCP is helped by Rehabilitation Centrum Amsterdam, Holland in meeting the running cost of PCCP (Physiotherapy Centre for Cerebral Palsy). Since 1996, Royal Danish Embassy Nepal has extended its financial support to implement different on going programmes of  SGCP. In 1996 the project agreement was also signed between the authorised representatives of DANIDA until 1999. Thanks to sponsorship from DANIDA, Stichting Lilian Foundation (SLF) and Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation ( NYOF) that children from poor families also could attend SEP (Special Educational Programme). We are grateful to the support extended to us in different stages of our growth by German Development Cooperation, Stichting Nepal,  Rolland; British Gorkha, Nepal; VSO, Nepal ; Social Welfare Council, Nepal and to several foreign therapists and teachers who worked for us on a voluntary basis.

It is not expected that SGCP, will ever be sustainable until our government commits itself  to help children with cp . Till then, SGCP will be dependent on professional and financial support from outside to continue its work with the cp children and their parents and to build physical facilities necessary for our activities. We sincerely urge you to help us support children with cp in Nepal.

However, the following items can be considered as its sources of income :

1. Services charge collected from the parents at PCCP which is nominal.
2. Services charge collected in HVP.
3. Tuition fee of SEP.
4. Petty donation (ear marked).
