Due to its international postion, Geneva is easily reached from European large cities thanks to its international airport, motorways and railway network.

Founded in 1559 by Jean Calvin, the University of Geneva is an interdisciplinary tertiary-level institution promoting education, research and social change in a large variety of fields. With 16’000 students of more than 140 different nationalities, it is Switzerland’s second largest university.
