Our policy has always been to have a definitive step by step curriculum flowing trough the school, for the teaching of maths, science, reading and language skills musical activities.

Students are encouraged to have a love of books. They are allowed to take books home from the reading schemes and from the school library.

Much of geography , history, health, science and art/craft work has traditionally been based on a thematic approach: generally known as project work.

Our main aims are:

MENTAL ATTAINMENT

To give a thorugh grounding in the basic subjects of language, mathematics and science.

SOCIAL AND MORAL AWARENESS

To provide a well balanced, wide curriculum of information and interesting material and occupations which will be of educational, social and leisure value to our students

PHYSICAL WELL BEING AND SELF-KNOWLEDGE AND PURPOSE

To ensure that each boy or girl is stretched to his or her full potential, physically and mentally without undue stess. We endeavour, therefore, to integrate children as quickly as possible and to help them to feel them they are important members of this school to which they now belong. Our students should be able to learn with enjoyement.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Moral awareness is developed through religious educational lessons and social activties. Students, however, are made aware of the religious beliefs of other people of the world and tolerance of these beliefs and customs is fostered.

These activities will be developed the next year by other students.
