The purpose of the EUN-Schoolnet Project is to create a school network, a multi-media platform, and a standard for communication within Europe. By combining both content and pedagogy, the European project promotes a collaborative framework in which national school authorities, universities, and industries can work together to insure communication and information technologies within European schools. TECFA's participation in the EUN-Schoolnet PROJECT consists of research and work involved in two different projects: the Virtual Workspace Environment (VWE) and the Virtual Library. TECFA's contribution to the project consists of a full participation, both technical and pedagogical, in the general structure and functionality of the Virutual Workspace Environment.
