Doctoral researcher (TECFA) · Consultant & Instructional Designer

Présentation

I am a consultant, instructional designer and researcher deeply committed to exploring how digital technologies and artificial intelligence are reshaping professional expertise and adult learning.

Over the past decade, I have worked at the intersection of practice and theory: first as a trainer of trainers, then as a programme director for executive training in digital pedagogy, and now as a doctoral researcher.

My professional career has been marked by a desire to empower educators and organisations to create meaningful, critical and sustainable learning environments. I specialise in designing innovative training systems for higher education and professional contexts, with a focus on the role of technology, self-directed learning and the affective dimensions of education.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Education Sciences at the University of Geneva (TECFA). My research focuses on how generative AI challenges and reconfigures human expertise in professional contexts, questioning the transformation of legitimacy, recognition and trajectories of expertise in the post-digital era.

Axes et intêrets de recherche

  • Expertise in the age of AI: how professional expertise is constructed, challenged and legitimised in contexts where generative AI is becoming ubiquitous.
  • Self-directed and lifelong learning: how adult learners adapt, develop autonomy and maintain motivation in uncertain or changing environments.
  • Technology and affect in learning: how digital tools influence emotions such as confusion, curiosity or doubt, and how these states shape resilience and deep learning.
  • Critical approaches to educational technology: questioning when, how and why to use AI and digital tools in professional education.

Enseignements & Consulting

I design and facilitate training sessions for universities, public institutions and private companies, in formats ranging from interactive workshops to university courses.

  • BFFA (Brevet de formation pour formateur·rice·s d’adultes): facilitation of modules on pedagogy and reflexivity.
  • CAS NUMEF (Environnement numérique en formation professionnelle): programme leadership and teaching on digital learning environments, critical approaches to educational technology, and resource design.
  • CAS GESNUM (Gestion de projets numériques en formation): programme leadership and teaching on project-based pedagogy, digital project management, and innovation in training.

Publications

Academic

  • Soutiens perçus et régulation de l’engagement des adultes en reprise d’études à l’Université de Genève : le cas de trois étudiantes. This research focused on three adult learners enrolled in the Master of Educational Sciences (Adult Education) at the University of Geneva. It examined how social and organisational support were perceived and how they contributed to the regulation of learners’ engagement. The study highlighted the specific challenges adult learners face in articulating studies, work, and family life, and showed the central role of perceived support in sustaining long-term commitment to higher education.
  • Ongoing doctoral research: Investigating how generative AI reshapes the construction, legitimacy, and recognition of professional expertise. The study analyses the ways in which adult learners and practitioners negotiate their identities, trajectories, and authority in post-digital environments where AI tools increasingly mediate knowledge and practice.

For broader audiences

  • Video series – Documentary series on digital technology in teaching and training (UNIL – Future Universities) – A multi-episode production exploring how digital environments transform pedagogy, teacher identity, and learners’ practices. The series combines testimonies, theoretical insights, and critical perspectives to make research accessible to educators and the wider public.
  • Teaching & Consulting – design and facilitation of training sessions for universities, public institutions, and private companies, with formats ranging from interactive workshops to academic courses.
