Djamileh Geneviève AMINIAN
PhD Student in Educational Technologies
About me
I am an educator, consultant, and researcher with a deep commitment to advancing learning methodologies in both academic and professional settings. With over a decade of hands-on experience, I began my career as a trainer for adult educators, designing and delivering classes and workshops in diverse formats, including in-person, e-learning, and blended learning. This led me to my current expertise as a consultant in Learning Experience Design, advising L&D teams and Training centers in choosing and implementing the right technology for their needs.
My aim is to bridge the gap between academia and real-world educational settings in adult education. This led me to my current pursuit of a PhD in Educational Sciences, where I focus on the possible uses of Generative AI in Self-Regulated Learning to support and enhance affective and motivational dimensions for lifelong learners.
Research topics
- Self-Directed and Self-Regulated Learning: Investigating how professional adult learners manage their own learning processes and adapt to challenges
- Generative AI as a supportive Tool: if and if yes, when and how it really supports learning
