In addition to the primary forms of citation, the citation commands
<#240#>#tex2html_wrap_inline362#citeyear<#240#> and <#241#>#tex2html_wrap_inline364#citename<#241#> are provided as building blocks
for more complex citations that authors may (from time to time) require.
<#242#>#tex2html_wrap_inline366#citeyear<#242#> behaves like the
<#243#>#tex2html_wrap_inline368#cite<#243#> command except that only the year portion of the
citation label is used.
For example,
verbatim5
produces (##btxdoc, ##latex).
The parenthesis around the year list may be omitted by modifying the command
name with a single asterisk (e.g. 1).
<#244#>#tex2html_wrap_inline370#citename<#244#> behaves like the
<#245#>#tex2html_wrap_inline372#citeasnoun<#245#> command except that only the author name(s)
portion of the citation label is used.
For example,
verbatim6
produces
##btxdoc.
The use of these commands does not trigger the use of abbreviated citations for
subsequent <#246#>#tex2html_wrap_inline374#citeasnoun<#246#> and <#247#>#tex2html_wrap_inline376#cite<#247#>
