Chamber 1: Receiving Room for New Immigrants A clean room where new EON learners have a chance to catch their breath before journeying on to chamber two via the Lev Train. In the corner is a small help office where new learners may broadcast questions to other learners logged into and active on EON. A small stack of pamphlets sits on a folding table set up by the door. You feel an urge to read one.

Once you enter chamber two, you are likely to encounter other learners. The Committee on Learner Interaction (EON-CLI) which has spent several months discussing the issues related to learner interaction suggests the following:

1. How do you know if another person is in the room with you?
People are always listed last. Example:
Chamber 2: Middle of the Road
You are in the middle of a large strip of blacktop.
      You see pot hole.
Xymox, vedder (idle 10m) and shkoo (idle 3D) are here.
Xymox, vedder and shkoo are actual people. Vedder hasn't typed
anything for 10 minutes. shkoo hasn't typed anything for 3 days.
2. How do you say something to other people in the room?
    Use double quotes. Example:
You type: "hi Result: You say "hi."
3. How do you wave at someone or laugh?
    Use a colon. Example:
You type: :smiles Result: Learner smiles.
