This initiative, organized with the support
of the DG XXII - European Commission - is in line with the first of the
stimulating topics of the " European Year of the Education " : " General
Education with high quality, open to everybody without discrimination,
including the capacity to learn autonomously ". The steering Committee
justifies its project from a set of convergent assessments resulting from
researches relating to the abilities and the competences taking place in
the reference use not only by youth but also by adults.
Many contributors have reviewed various problems
encountered by teachers and their pupils to access to the "conventional"
informations. Except the paper relating to the computerized network RECODA,
the contributions are not besed on the use of computers networks. Nonetheless
the interest of the document stays for opened reflections within Learn-Nett.
Indeed, reading these proceedings, we can ask ourself if - once the material
access infrastructure put in place - the difficulties mentioned for the
"paper" documents (books, manuals...) will be ironed out. The assessments
already mentioned by the pedagogues from well-equipped countries lead on
the contrary to anticipate an exponential growth of those questions.

at the multimedia room 5UB2) or at the SIA library (UB3, from monday to
friday 9h30-12h00 and 13h30-17h30). During the Learn-Nett experience, the
