ePBL PN module v2.0 is out!
Posted by: vivian on Tuesday, October 04, 2005 - 11:49 PM
ePBL module The second version of this complicated but highly appreciated module for Project-Based e-Learning is now available!
This is a module that I have developed for a big project that I am working on (my PhD thesis) and this version I should have released months ago but I was too busy to do it, but better late than never, right? I work on improving the module both technically and conceptually so any feedback is more than welcome (wiki ePBL community, ePBL Forum). For the ones to whom this article sounds like greek to them (nothing to do with the fact that I am greek :)) read first some of my publications inside the ePBL wikipage

So, here it is:
- NAME: ePBL
- VERSION: v2.0, Danai Release (stable and tested with 3 courses for 2 academic years)
- TYPE: Postnuke module (API-compliant)
- FOR: Postnuke 0.72x and over
- USE: Project-Based e-Learning in higher education
- LANGUAGES: English, French (in both, text can be improved :)
- REQUIREMENTS: Postnuke portal and an DTD-Aware XML editor like Morphon that is free (a simple text editor to start is also ok)

Homepage: ePBL wikipage (with link to Downloads)

Demo: (a real course that served as my first case study):
- STAF18 course portal (postgraduate course in Educational Technology)
- ePBL page
- ePBL Cockpit (some parts are only available for course members, teachers, students)
- No demo for ePBL administration currently available

Problem with ePBL!!!
Posted by: vivian on Thursday, April 08, 2004 - 12:49 PM
ePBL module Several people that downloaded ePBL reported the same problem "Create workspace failed"...
I had a look at it recently and I realised that the version that I had put online was missing two basic things:
- a directory called uploads that should belong to nobody (where the students projects are stocked)
- a file that explained this specific thing
