About me.


I am a PhD student at TECFA, a research and teaching unit in the faculty of psychology and education, University of Geneva. My PhD work focuses on conceptual change in physics through the use of augmented reality systems.
Currently, I am working as research and teaching assistant. I notably mentor graduate students in a course on serious game design and Educational technologies. I have organized the “Educational technologies brownbag seminars” during 4 years and I'm currently member of the EduIHM steering committee.
I also have previous experience in the field of Citizen Sciences (research), workflow based e-learning systems (research), web and game development.

Conceptual change, multimedia learning, mixed reality, creative coding, tangible interfaces, Computer-Aided Design, serious games, citizen sciences, workflow-based e-learning, Educational modelling languages.

Thesis.


Les dispositifs d’interaction mixte et augmentée, en permettant la superposition de représentations externes multiples dans un contexte tangible et authentique, possèdent des caractéristiques uniques pour dépasser certaines difficultés relevées en didactique des sciences. Pourtant, la manière dont les élèves interagissent et pensent avec ce type de dispositif est encore mal connue. Dans le cadre de cette thèse nous développons et testons DEAPE Learn un dispositif d'expérimentation augmentée des phénomènes physique liés aux concepts de champs électriques et magnétiques.
