for more complex citations that authors may (from time to time) require.

<#691#>#tex2html_wrap_inline813#cite<#691#> command except that only the year portion of the
citation label is used.

The parenthesis around the year list may be omitted by modifying the command
name with a single asterisk (e.g. 5).
<#692#>#tex2html_wrap_inline815#citename<#692#> behaves like the
<#693#>#tex2html_wrap_inline817#citeasnoun<#693#> command except that only the author name(s)
portion of the citation label is used.

The use of these commands does not trigger the use of abbreviated citations for
