Parenthesis Style

The type of parenthesis used in citations may be set using the <#285#>#tex2html_wrap_inline402#harvardparenthesis<#285#> command which takes one argument. The argument to this command must be one of <#286#>round<#286#>, <#287#>curly<#287#>, <#288#>angle<#288#>, <#289#>square<#289#> or <#290#>none<#290#>. The default value is <#291#>round<#291#>. If it is a requirement that different parenthesis types are required for parenthetical cites that for the year portion for a <#292#>#tex2html_wrap_inline404#citeasnoun<#292#> citation then the command <#293#>#tex2html_wrap_inline406#harvardyearparenthesis<#293#> may be used to set the year parenthesis seperately. This command must be issued after any <#294#>#tex2html_wrap_inline408#harvardparenthesis<#294#> command as that command sets both parenthetical and year parenthesis. If the bibliographic style chosen is <#295#>agsm<#295#> or <#296#>dcu<#296#> then the parenthesis style chosen using <#297#>#tex2html_wrap_inline410#harvardyearparenthesis<#297#> is used with the year portion of the entries in the bibliographic listing. The options <#298#>round<#298#>, <#299#>curly<#299#>, <#300#>angle<#300#>, <#301#>square<#301#> and <#302#>none<#302#> may also be used with the the <#303#>#tex2html_wrap_inline412#usepackage<#303#> command that invokes the <#304#>harvard<#304#>\ package. Authors of style files for use with the <#305#>harvard<#305#>\ family who wish to make use of this feature should use the strings 2 and 3 instead of the respective parenthesis characters where they wish them to be effected by the selection made with <#306#>#tex2html_wrap_inline414#harvardparenthesis<#306#>.
