Résumé, summary

The computer art activities help the students express their ideas freely. The students made a poster which contained a clear message about a Japanese temple using the computer during this activity. We used FM-TOWNS computers and software called "Towns PAINT." The students drew pictures using a mouse and selected some colors from 27,000 colors. They also input pictures, photographs, and VCR tapes easily using the software. The students made their own design without thinking about making mistakes, because they can edit their products anytime. This feeling motivates the students' learning very well . The students who were not good at drawing pictures could also enjoy this activity. They developed positive attitudes toward art activities.
